- קוטביות, או פולאריות היא תכונה המתארת את חלוקת המטען החשמלי בקשרים כימיים. כאשר רוב המטען מרוכז בצד אחד הקשר הוא קוטבי (פולארי), וכאשר המטען מתחלק באופן שווה הקשר אינו קוטבי (א-פולארי).
