אם ניתן לעבד אותו שוב ושוב באמצעות חום, זהו חומר תרמופלסטי

אם לא ניתן לעבד אותו שוב ושוב באמצעות חום, זהו חומר תרמוסטי 

ההבדל הוא למעשה במבנה המולקולרי, אם חומר תרמופלסטי ניתן לדמות כצלחת ספגטי, חומר תרמוסטי הוא כמו רשת דייגים

We can Classify Plastic in many ways, the most common way answars the question: Can we reprocess the material?


What does it means? Well,

If you can process it again and again using heat, the plastic is Thermoplatic

if you cant process it again and again using heat, the plastic is Thermoset


The diffrent is due to the molecular stracture - Thermoplastic material is like a bowl of spaghetti while Thermosetic material is like a fisherman net.
